Job Title: Group Leader – Piping Engineering
As a Group Leader, you will be at the forefront of managing the Piping & Stress Engineering group, providing leadership, technical expertise, and ensuring project success within a multidisciplinary environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- B Tech / B Eng Degree.
- Minimum 8 years’ piping design experience, with at least 3 years in leadership.
- Driver’s License and Own Transport.
- Proficiency in Caesar II, SMath, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good understanding of and experience in estimating and budgetary control.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Previous design and multidisciplinary engineering experience.
- Medically fit for duty as per occupational health requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Piping & Stress Engineering group.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and technicians.
- Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards (ISO 45001, 14001, 9001, 3834).
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless project execution.
- Oversee design control, document management, and quality assurance.
- Build strong client relationships and support business development initiatives.
- Represent the company in client meetings, proposals, and negotiations.
- Manage and oversee single discipline projects.
