About the MSME Funding Programme
The Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality is proud to announce an exciting funding opportunity for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) operating within its municipal area. This programme offers crucial financial support for the 2026/27 financial year, aimed at stimulating economic growth, creating vital jobs, fostering enterprise development, and strengthening local economic participation.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for this funding, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Registered MSMEs operating within the jurisdiction of Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality.
- Enterprises with clear business plans and demonstrated potential for growth.
- Priority will be given to businesses owned by youth, women, and people with disabilities.
What the Fund Supports
The MSME Funding Programme offers financial assistance ranging from R5,000 to R30,000 to support two key areas:
- Business Expansion: Financial assistance to help your business grow and reach new markets.
- Equipment Purchase: Support to acquire essential tools and machinery needed for your operations.
Application Requirements
Prospective applicants are required to submit the following documents:
- Completed application form.
- EMLM Business License/EMLM Trading Permit.
- CIPC/CK certificate.
- Valid Tax Clearance certificate.
- B-BBEE/ Sworn Affidavit.
- CSD report.
- Certified ID copies of directors/owners.
- Comprehensive Business Profile/Business plan.
- Proof of Business Address (PTO, Title Deed).
- Bank confirmation letter.
- Attach latest Quotation.
