Key Responsibilities
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for:
- Reporting to the Artisan and ensuring production targets are met.
- Maintaining essential compliance with the company’s HSEC (Health, Safety, Environment, and Community) system.
- Implementing management decisions and adhering to legal requirements.
- Taking responsibility for your own safety and the safety of your crew.
- Ensuring full compliance with mine standards and procedures.
Requirements (About You)
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following:
- Grade 12 qualification.
- A Full N2 Certificate (with at least one subject being theory) along with an Aider Certificate.
- Proven experience as an Artisan Aid in both underground and surface environments.
- Strong operational problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Medical fitness to work in demanding surface and underground environments.
