Job Description
We are seeking to appoint a Miner to oversee and execute the installation of secondary support systems in underground mining areas, ensuring compliance with safety and ground support standards.
Key Requirements
- Grade 12
- Valid Blasting Certificate (Hard Rock)
- TM3 experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Miner
- Experience in secondary support installation
Key Responsibilities
- Install and oversee secondary support systems (bolts, mesh, shotcrete)
- Ensure compliance with Mine Health and Safety regulations
- Lead and supervise support crew activities
- Conduct workplace inspections and risk assessments
- Maintain production targets while ensuring safety standards
- Report hazards, incidents, and deviations
