Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
We are seeking to appoint a Shotcrete Nozzleman to apply shotcrete (wetcrete) and assist in the installation of secondary support systems in underground workings.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Valid Shotcrete Nozzleman Certificate
- Competent B
- Medical fitness
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the position
- Experience in other secondary support installations
- Experience in application of Altrecrete
Responsibilities
- Apply shotcrete (wetcrete) as per design specifications
- Install support systems in conjunction with mesh and anchors
- Ensure correct mix, flow, and pressure during application
- Conduct pre-use inspections of shotcrete equipment
- Maintain effective communication with pump operator and crew
- Ensure compliance with safety and ventilation requirements
- Identify and report poor ground conditions or support failures
Salary: Market Related
