Corner Circle Consulting is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager / Shift Supervisor to join their team in Hotazel, Northern Cape.
About the Role
As a Site Manager/Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing shift operations and overseeing the installation of secondary support systems in underground mining areas. Your role will ensure strict compliance with all safety and ground support standards, contributing to a secure and efficient working environment.
Key Requirements
- Grade 12
- Valid Blasting Certificate (Hard Rock)
- Shift Supervisor Certificate / Course
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a mining supervisory role
- Experience in secondary support installation
Responsibilities Include
- Oversee shift operations and secondary support installation across the section
- Ensure compliance with Mine Health and Safety regulations
- Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments and toolbox talks
- Monitor production against plan while upholding safety standards
- Manage shift reporting, incident investigation and corrective actions
- Liaise with mine management on production, safety and support performance
