Job Title: Registered Nurse (Paediatric Ward)

The Opportunity
The Registered Nurse (Paediatric Ward) plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality, compassionate nursing care to children and their families. You will ensure safe clinical practices within the paediatric ward, support doctors in diagnosing and treating paediatric patients, and foster a nurturing environment that prioritizes children’s physical, emotional, and developmental needs. This position also involves critical patient and family education, contributing to holistic care and recovery.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing (General, Community, Psychiatry) and Midwifery
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse
- 2+ years paediatric experience, preferably in a private hospital
- Knowledge of medical care protocols, infection prevention, and patient safety practices
- Proficiency in Health Management Information Systems (HMIS)
