Join Our Team as a Storeroom General Worker at Auto Bus Electrical!
Auto Bus Electrical (PTY) LTD is seeking a dedicated and reliable Storeroom General Worker to become a valuable part of their strong team. This is a hands-on, physically active role within a busy environment, primarily supporting the receiving, control, and dispatch of stock. If you have previous storeroom or warehouse experience, you are encouraged to apply and contribute effectively from day one with minimal training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving incoming stock and checking deliveries against GRVs/purchase orders.
- Picking, packing and preparing stock accurately for dispatch against sales orders.
- Assisting with regular stock counts and stock control.
- Loading, offloading and general handling of stock.
- General storeroom housekeeping – keeping the area clean, organised, and correctly labelled/bin-located.
- Reporting stock discrepancies, low stock, or damaged goods to the storeroom supervisor.
- Basic stock record-keeping and administration.
- Following company procedures relating to health, safety, and stock handling.
- Assisting with general storeroom/warehouse duties as required.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Matric (or equivalent) preferred.
- Previous storeroom or warehouse experience essential – specifically stock counts, order picking/dispatch and receiving incoming stock.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and lifting.
- Reliable, punctual, honest and attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy advantageous.
- Valid South African ID; clear criminal record.
Remuneration:
A competitive salary of R8 000 – R9 000 per month, depending on your experience.
