About the Role: Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary (x3)
Hillcrest Hospital is seeking three dedicated Enrolled Nursing Auxiliaries to join our High Care department. This crucial role involves direct and/or indirect nursing care for patients and groups, operating under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and strictly adhering to hospital standards and policies. As a Professional Practitioner, you will be accountable for your actions and omissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessment and provide care tailored to patients’ needs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate appropriate programs of care to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Ensure the effective delivery of high-quality care to patients.
- Report potential and actual risks promptly.
- Maintain diligent control and management of all stock.
Requirements
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary.
- Strict compliance with the SANC code for an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary and all applicable healthcare legislation.
- Demonstrated capacity to implement and uphold health practice standards as required by all accredited bodies and relevant health legislation.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience in the same position.
- Working experience in a private healthcare or healthcare funding industry will be a distinct advantage.
- Relevant experience within the nursing discipline.
- High Care experience will also be considered an advantage.
Essential Knowledge
- Computer literacy is essential.
- Fluent communication in English is essential.
- Strong understanding and application of nursing standards.
