About CemAir and the Programme
CemAir (Pty) Ltd, a South African Part 121 / 135 airline based at O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, is offering an exciting opportunity for motivated and ambitious graduates to join our 6-month Aviation Graduate Workplace Experience Programme on a fixed-term basis.
This programme is designed to provide graduates with meaningful practical exposure to a professional aviation environment, allowing you to develop your skills, gain industry knowledge, and experience the day-to-day operations of a thriving airline.
Departments for Placement
Graduates may be placed within a range of departments, including but not limited to:
- Quality
- Safety
- Airworthiness
- Flight Operations
- Ground Operations
- Training
- Commercial
- Other suitable aviation-related business areas
Placements will be aligned, where reasonably possible, with the graduate’s qualifications, skills, interests, and the operational requirements of the business.

Requirements
- Recent graduates with a BSc or BCom degree – Mandatory
- Previous aviation experience not a requirement
- Passionate about developing a career in the aviation industry
- Eager to gain practical workplace experience
- Strong Computer proficiency – Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook
- Professional, motivated, and willing to learn
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong in communication, organization and problem-solving
- Interested in learning about the aviation industry
- South African citizen with clear criminal record
- Must be prepared to work after hours, over week-ends and on public holidays
