About the Role
Medi Response is actively seeking experienced Basic Life Support (BLS) and Intermediate Life Support (ILS) Practitioners to join our dedicated operations team in the North West. This critical role requires individuals with additional fire and rescue capabilities, ready to provide high-quality pre-hospital emergency care.
Successful candidates will support fire response and rope rescue operations in demanding emergency environments. We are looking for practitioners who are safety-focused, clinically capable, and comfortable operating under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide care within your registered scope of practice.
- Conduct patient assessments and deliver appropriate treatment.
- Support fire response and rope rescue operations when required.
- Complete clinical and operational documentation accurately.
- Maintain compliance with clinical, rescue, and safety protocols.
- Ensure emergency vehicles, medical, and rescue equipment remain operationally ready.
Requirements
- Current HPCSA registration as a BLS or ILS Practitioner.
- CPD compliant and in good standing with the HPCSA.
- Fire 1 & 2 training.
- Rope Rescue qualification or recognised training.
- Valid driver’s licence and PrDP.
- Strong clinical judgement and communication skills.
- Professional, reliable, and safety-focused.
- Ability to work flexible shifts in line with operational requirements.
