About the Role
Sanitech is seeking an experienced and hands-on Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations across a site. The successful candidate will lead and support cleaning teams, coordinate daily work, maintain high service and hygiene standards, and ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with client and company requirements.
This role requires a proactive leader who can drive team performance, maintain quality standards, and ensure seamless coordination across all cleaning activities.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):
- CONTRACT OPERATIONS: Manage all cleaning contract operations, including PRP coordination and chemical issue documentation.
- TEAM LEADERSHIP: Lead and manage all cleaning personnel, addressing performance and human resource matters where required.
- SERVICE QUALITY: Maintain and improve service quality through daily oversight of integrated cleaning services and site operations.
- SITE COMPLIANCE AND ASSETS: Ensure site files, safety requirements, equipment, assets, and faulty equipment are properly managed and maintained.
- CUSTOMER RELATIONS: Build strong customer relationships, maintain client satisfaction, and contribute to growing the Sanitech brand.
- COST AND PERFORMANCE CONTROL: Monitor audits, productivity, consumable and chemical costs, and cost of sales to ensure performance remains within budget.
What You Need (Requirements):
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the contract cleaning industry
- Good customer liaison and communication skills
- Strong ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
