Medi Response is actively seeking experienced Basic Life Support (BLS) and Intermediate Life Support (ILS) Practitioners to bolster our dynamic operations team in the North West region. If you possess additional fire and rescue capabilities and are passionate about pre-hospital emergency care, we encourage you to apply.
The successful candidates will be instrumental in providing high-quality pre-hospital emergency care. This vital role also involves supporting critical fire response and rope rescue operations. We are looking for practitioners who are not only safety-focused and clinically capable but also comfortable and effective in demanding emergency response environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and deliver care strictly within your registered scope of practice.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and provide appropriate treatment protocols.
- Provide essential support for fire response and rope rescue operations whenever required.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all clinical and operational documentation.
- Strictly maintain compliance with all relevant clinical, rescue, and safety protocols.
- Regularly ensure that all emergency vehicles, medical, and rescue equipment are operationally ready and well-maintained.
Requirements:
- Current HPCSA registration as either a BLS or ILS Practitioner.
- Must be CPD compliant and in good standing with the HPCSA.
- Possession of Fire 1 & 2 training certifications.
- A valid Rope Rescue qualification or recognised training in this field.
- A valid driver’s licence and Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
- Demonstrated strong clinical judgement and exceptional communication skills.
- A professional, reliable, and safety-focused approach to all duties.
- Ability to work flexible shifts in accordance with operational requirements.
