Shikwaru, in partnership with Reaching a Generation, is looking for a dedicated and hands-on Pomegranate Orchard & Farm Manager to oversee our comprehensive farm operations.
About the Role
As our Pomegranate Orchard & Farm Manager, you will be instrumental in managing all aspects of our pomegranate farming, from initial land preparation to post-harvest logistics. This unique opportunity requires someone with significant agricultural experience or education, eager to contribute to a ministry-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee full-cycle pomegranate agronomy, including soil preparation, drip irrigation/fertigation, canopy management, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), and ensuring high harvest quality control.
- Direct permanent and seasonal field teams, enforcing stringent safety standards and meticulously tracking performance to ensure operational excellence.
- Manage general farm infrastructure, conducting routine maintenance on essential equipment such as tractors, boreholes, and electric game fencing.
- Assist with secondary extensive game management and camp monitoring, contributing to the overall stewardship of the Shikwaru property.
Requirements:

- Proven practical agricultural experience or relevant education.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to manage complex farm operations and logistics.
