Join Alt Academy, a leading SACAA Part 141 and EASA Part 147/66 aviation training academy. We are seeking passionate and experienced Aircraft Mechanic Instructors to join our dynamic team.
About the Role
As an Aircraft Mechanic Instructor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of aviation professionals. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive theory and practical training to apprentices and trainee engineers, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver theory and practical training to apprentices and trainee engineers.
- Assess competence and ensure trainees achieve required standards.
- Maintain accurate training records.
- Uphold and promote hangar safety standards.
- Pass on your technical expertise and foster the development of licensed engineers.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Essential)
- Aircraft Mechanic Trade Test Certificate from an approved Testing Centre (Essential)
- NQF 7 Qualification and/or 5-10 years of live aircraft maintenance engineering environment experience.
- At least 2-3 years in a formal instructor or training lead role at an aviation school.
- A recognized “Train the Trainer” or vocational teaching certification.
- A valid AME Licence (Essential)
